Specialized Expertise
for Benefit Plans
To
be most responsive to our clients' needs, Lindquist LLP partners
are trained as Employee Benefit Plan and Fund specialists. Some
of these partners serve on committees of the American Institute
of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the International Foundation
of Employee Benefit Plans (IFEBP), which have focused on emerging
issues that affect Benefit Plans. Since representatives of the U.S.
Department of Labor and Internal Revenue Service also serve on these
committees, our Firm is well positioned to shape the development
of government regulations and financial reporting standards for
Employee Benefit Plans.
In addition, our professional staff receives extensive training
relating to audits of Employee Benefit Plans through AICPA Employee
Benefit conferences, state CPA society seminars, self-study courses,
and in-house training led by Lindquist LLP's Employee Benefits specialists.
Through our extensive experience with these professional organizations,
our professional staff has developed an "insider's view"
of the accounting and compliance aspects affecting employee benefit
plans. This experience adds a vital dimension to the breadth and
unsurpassed quality of our professional services.

Employee Benefit Plan Audit Quality Center
To demonstrate our commitment to our Employee Benefit Plan practice,
Lindquist LLP joined the Employee Benefit Plan Audit Quality Center
of the AICPA. In order to join the Quality Center, our Firm met
certain practice management requirements in the areas of training,
quality control, and self-monitoring.
The Quality Center provides member firms with best practices, tools,
and guidance in all aspects of employee benefit plan auditing. We
believe that having additional resources at our disposal will help
us to better serve our clients.
