Celebrating Exciting Changes at Lindquist

At Lindquist LLP, we have much to celebrate—2015 marked our 40th year of business.  Considering that 80% of start-ups fail, four decades of service is quite the feat by today’s standards.  In addition to commemorating our past, we are celebrating the many exciting changes that are taking place at Lindquist, including an office remodel, a brand refresh and geographic expansion.  Read on to learn what’s been happening and what’s in store for the future.

Office Remodel

In 1989, our firm moved from a small office in Lafayette, California, to
5000 Executive Parkway in San Ramon; Lindquist and Company, as it was then called, was one of the first tenants of Bishop Ranch business park.  Our space remained largely unchanged until October 2015, when the office underwent a major facelift.  Over a five-month period, our headquarters was transformed into a fresh, modern space, conducive to a paperless work environment.  The open-concept, technology-driven office is intended to continue to attract the best and brightest.  Check out the before-and-after video here.

Conference Room Available for Meetings

Did you know that the conference room in the San Ramon office is available for board meetings?  The conference room was updated during the remodel and now contains two large screens/televisions for displaying presentations, reports, minutes, etc.  It seats 10 comfortably and is perfect for small boards.  Best of all, the room is available free of charge to clients!  To reserve the space, please discuss with your Lindquist partner or contact the receptionist, Laurel Bertuleit, at

Open House

On March 2, the Lindquist team welcomed clients and fellow professionals to an open house to celebrate this renovation of the San Ramon office.  Thanks to all attendees for making the event special!  We were especially pleased and honored that our firm’s founder, Alan Lindquist, emerged from retirement to join us for the evening.  Even if you weren’t able to attend, you can catch a glimpse of the evening’s festivities here.

A Sneak Preview …

If you attended the open house or viewed the above-linked videos, you may have noticed a new Lindquist logo in the remodeled office.  The office renovation presented the perfect opportunity to re-evaluate the logo and incorporate the Lindquist brand around the office.  While we aren’t quite ready to formally roll out the new logo, rest assured that you can look forward to its appearance in other places—such as letterhead, business cards, and our website—in the near future.

A New Office:  The Wind’s a Changin’

Our firm has become known for its ability to provide services nationally to employee benefit plans, labor organizations, and not-for-profits from our offices along the West Coast.  We are pleased to announce that our geographic footprint is expanding!  Effective in 2016, Lindquist will be providing services throughout Chicagoland from a location in the Windy City.

In Closing

We are thrilled to have been working in our clients’ communities for four decades.  We are thankful to our clients and referrals for their continued business, which drives the long-term success of the firm.  The past certainly holds a place of honor in our hearts, our minds and the annals of Lindquist history; and we, as a firm, are equally as excited for what the future holds. 

Stephanie Kretschmer is Lindquist LLP’s marketing manager.  In conjunction with firm leadership, she oversees marketing, communications and business development for all of Lindquist LLP’s offices.  She graduated with a degree in communication studies from Saint Mary’s College (Notre Dame, Indiana).
