LINDQUIST LLP PROMOTES WHITTEMORE TO PARTNER

San Ramon, California (February 12, 2009) – The certified public accounting firm Lindquist LLP has promoted Kyle S. Whittemore to partner, effective January 1, 2009.  Whittemore joined the Firm in 2005 as the senior manager in-charge of the payroll compliance department.  He is a graduate of San Diego University, where he earned a bachelor of science degree in management.

Since joining Lindquist LLP, Whittemore has improved the development and capabilities of payroll compliance department staff and utilized technology to streamline testing and administrative processes.  As partner, Whittemore will continue to manage department processes, policies, procedures and quality control systems implemented by the Firm.  Prior to joining Lindquist LLP, he acquired more than 15 years of experience in the areas of internal audit, accounting, human resources and information technology.
