San Ramon, California (January 3, 2008) – The certified public accounting firm Lindquist LLP is pleased to announce Barry T. Omahen, CPA, will serve as its managing partner, effective January 1, 2008. Omahen succeeds Kimberly R. Ray, CPA, who held the position for the past seven years. Ray resigned from the management role to accommodate personal and family commitments, but will continue to serve clients as a partner of the Firm on a reduced work schedule. Omahen will fill the remaining year of Ray’s term as managing partner.

Omahen has over 30 years of experience in certified public accounting. Since 2003, he has been the partner in-charge of Lindquist LLP’s audit and accounting practice and its quality control review. His professional memberships include the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans. Omahen is a graduate of Saint Joseph’s College in Rensselaer, Indiana.
